With a variety of swim programs available, FINS offers a unique setting for swim lessons. We are one of just a few swim schools in the nation that offers swim programs ranging from babies to adults and even competitive swimming. We also offer a USA swimming and triathlete program for advanced swimmers to continue to train and attain new levels of experience and skill.
Along with teaching Learn to Swim and Competitive Swim training in Northwest Houston, the Goudeket family is focused on promoting water safety and awareness. This comes with challenging our neighbors and families to continue to do all that we can to help keep swimmers safe in our community.
Our Story at FINS Swim School
At FINS, short for Fun IN Swimming, the love of swimming flows through generations, with a deep commitment to keeping swimmers safe and confident in the water. From humble beginnings, FINS has grown into a family-owned business that offers a fun and affordable place to learn, practice, and perfect swimming skills for all ages. We specialize in private swim lessons and provide individualized instruction to help each swimmer reach their full potential. With seven convenient locations, including our newest facilities in The Woodlands and FINS at Fleet, we proudly serve swimmers of all levels, from infants to adults. Whether you’re just starting or aiming for competitive excellence, FINS is here to support your journey in the water.
How it all Began
FINS was founded by Bill and Kathy Goudeket, whose passion for swimming led them to build a strong, family-centered business. Bill, who discovered his love for swimming after years of dedication, qualified for the Olympic Trials and knew the importance of perseverance. When Bill and Kathy opened FINS, they envisioned a place where families could grow through swimming.
Today, Bill and Kathy’s legacy continues under the leadership of their three children, Megan, Liam, and Whitney, who are now the owners and operators of FINS Swim School. Together, they have expanded the business to seven thriving locations in Spring, The Woodlands, Atascocita/Kingwood, Grand Parkway North, Cypress, and our newest spots in The Woodlands 2928 and FINS at Fleet. The family is excited to provide high-quality private swim programs to its local communities and show them the one-on-one FINS difference.
