My daughter has been going to FINS for awhile and she is doing great! We really appreciate Coach Kelsey in supporting and encouraging her to be comfortable in the water. She always lets me know the skills she's working on and her progress at the end of the sessions. Highly recommend this swim school!
We love the individual instruction at Fins vs a class of 4 at other places. The teachers are effective, kind and so patient! The program is well above other places! Everything from class scheduling to make-up sessions are easy here. Love the staff! Great for all ages!!
FINS is an amazing swim school. The place is super clean and has a hard working staff. Autumn does great working with my families schedule with makeups. My kid also loves his coach Kelsey. Highly recommend!!
My younger one (almost 2 yrs old) has been doing swim lessons once a week with Jaysa for the last 6 weeks now. Although he cried the whole first class, he is doing really great now, enjoying his time in the pool with her and progressing nicely. She is really sweet and calm with him :-). Love the private classes. The little one receive the attention they need and are able to progress at their own pace.
Both of my kids go to FINS and they enjoy it very much. My older son has progressed rapidly through early stages, and we are grateful for Coach Kelsey to support and teach him skills along the way. This facility is a bit crowded though but they do their best to accommodate young swimmers.
We love swimming at Fins! We have coach Emma and she does great with our son. She goes at his pace and find creative ways to keep a toddler engaged in learning safe swim! We have tried a few swim schools and love this 1:1 model best for learning !
Hi , instructor here !At FINS , I have always had a positive experience with this company and I have never seen my job as a job. I am always glad to work ( or pick up extra shifts ) , just to always have enjoyable moments with kids . I like being able to be the best part of a kid’s day while also being able to teach them the skills of swimming. Another thing about FINS , we are a VERY diverse company! We teach kids from the very young all the way to adults, and each teaching is unique to that person. My coworkers also provide a very healthy work environment, helping out each other with our kids or the simple things . If you want to put your kid into a swim program, definitely put them into FINS. Their curriculum is so good that even my mom put me into it when I was a kid , and now I’m able to help other kids gain their swim experience.
Coach SIMONE is the absolute best!! She’s taught my kiddo amazing life skills that I have seen her utilize outside of her class. Not only is she a great swim instructor, but she’s also an amazing mentor for my daughter. She helped her social skills immensely, and my water-hating kid turn into a total mermaid. Highly recommend this place if you ever need a swim instructor for your kid. Simone is the one to ask for!
Absolutely love this place! Their passion for kids is over the top! I love the fact FINS is private lessons and there is no more sharing time with other swimmers❤️ Instructors give great feedback on what needs to be worked on and cheers them on after each success made! I RECOMMEND FINS if you have a child You want to learn to swim!
My little cousin takes lessons from instructor Kelsey. They have made so much progress in the water it’s amazing. He can almost breaststroke!! The facility is very nice and bathrooms super clean. Definitely will recommend to others.
My wife and I Absolutely love this swim school! The facility is clean and the instructors are really informative and caring. My sons instructor Kelsey was so calm with him. He was petrified at first about getting in but she worked with him and was able to build his confidence up. He’s really excited to come back, we’ve never seen him so happy to go back to a pool before so this is a first. I’m very pleased by this swim school and will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.
This swim school is the best of the best! I took my daughter here to learn how to swim after many failed attempts, and FINS changed her life. The environment here is family-friendly for family fun! My daughter’s instructor, Faye, is an exemplary instructor and I highly recommend her.

My 3 year old son has had swim lessons with Coach Ella for 6 months. He has autism, and she is so patient and encouraging with him. He’s had tremendous progress, as Coach Ella has gradually gotten him out of his comfort zone!The front desk staff are friendly and greet my son by name! They answer the phones quickly as well which is a huge plus for last minute cancellations.I’d recommend this location and Coach Ella to anyone whose child needs extra patience and love!

I recently enrolled in a swimming class at FINS Swimming school and I must say it has been an outstanding experience. The instructors are highly skilled, patient, and incredibly encouraging. The class structure is well-organized, catering to both beginners and those looking to refine their technique.

FINS is a great place for both of our sons to excel with their swimming. Coach Victoria is always smiling and is very patient with our older son. She’s doing a great job.
Update:If you are looking for special needs classes,!please note that they have only 1-2 instructors who will be teaching. Although She is good but it is very tough to find the spot and hard to get any make up classes if you miss any !——————————————————————-Fins cypress is amazing for kids. Both coaches Amelia and Cara are teaching life skills which my kids are enjoying. I definitely recommend sending your children here

Coach Reese is amazing with our cautious toddler son. Since starting lessons with her, he has become so much more comfortable in the water and learned so much! We would highly recommend her!

I have really enjoyed my daughter attending Fins. The staff is so nice and the coaches truly care about their students. I didn’t think at first 20 minute classes were going to be effective but she has learned and advanced more than she ever did at other swim classes that were 1 hour long and in groups. The one on one really makes a difference. My daughter has had several coaches and all of them a nice and really try to get to know your child so they can connect with them. I highly recommend Fins!
Loved Fins!! They were recommended to me almost eveytime I inquired someone about swim lessons. So we decided to put our children in over the summer. They had instructors Carli and Kylie and they both were awesome! 3 months of swim lessons and it has given them a healthy level of confidence and independence in the pool! We’ll definitely be back for more lessons.

My two boys go here and they couldn’t love it more! We’ve had several coaches throughout our private lessons here each week and they have grown leaps and bounds with their swimming skills, but more importantly, their comfort level with being in the water is amazing. We’ve been taken such good care of and appreciate the kindness and compassion shown to our family. My kids are excited to go here each week and devastated if we ever have to miss a class. I urge anyone who needs to get themselves or their kids in swim lessons to give FINS a try!

My 2.5 year old started here recently. The first class was a bit rough as it was a new place and he had a private class, but halfway through, he was smiling and laughing! Once we got over that hump, he’s now more confident and goes to the teacher happily. I love the kids can see parents from the deck as well. The teachers here are great and so gentle and kind. I see my child advancing and gaining more confidence in the water. I like the private classes, as I feel he will progress more quickly with individualized attention. We love FINS and are glad we chose this school! Water safety is critical for all people and especially young kids!
Instructor training and/or supervision has deteriorated over the past 18 months. Scheduling make up classes has become increasingly difficult. Child started swim class at 2 1/2 and made great progress up until about 18 months ago. An almost complete overhaul with instructors lead to several bad experience that set my daughter back. We had a terrible incident because one of the instructors was too busy talking to her colleagues and paying no attention to my daughter. The last bad experience should not have happened and my daughter ended up swallowing allot of pool water to the point where she threw up and now she has a strong fear of water. The coach was inattentive and unprofessional and was paying more attention to other coaches than to her student. When i asked for my daughter to be taken out of the pool she was uncontrollably shaking and crying and neither the staff or coaches seemed remorseful or worried. I spoke to one of the managers and all I received was an “I will talk to her” and told my daughter she will get a good coach next time! I’m leaving this review so parents can keep a close eye on their children and their instructors.
I am very happy to have changed my 4 y/o daughterfrom Pengu swim school in town lake to Fins. I have to drive a little more, but it's worth it.I used Fins in the past. 1st, with my now 25 year old whom later joined her high school swim team( she was 8 at the time). Then, four years later, with my now 16 y/o who is a great swimmer as well, but she just does it for fun.I enrolled my little one at pengu as we live about 7 minutes from there. I regret that on the 1st class!. Now I take my child to Fins, and she is so happy with Jeremiah (her instructor ).
We have been using FINS in Cypress for many years now and have had a great experience. Both my son and daughter are currently enrolled and we have been more than pleased with how fast they have learned water safety and improved their swimming. Coach Ricardo and Coach Sophia have both treated my children as family which has helped them be more comfortable with them as coaches while still learning in strides. We have been truly impressed with FINS and plan to continue there until our children are fully comfortable and confident being in the water. Highly recommend them and our coaches!
Our experience with FINS has been fantastic! The space is very well designed, everything is always clean and the finstructors are amazing!Coach Shonee is great with the little ones. She knows a lot and my 2-year old loves her!Coach Sarah is also awesome! She is very patient and loving and my 4-year old loves her so much!I recommend FINS 100% We’ve had experience with another swimming academy and it doesn’t even compare.
We love Fins! My daughter has been with Coach Caroline for over 6 months and we are so grateful for her. My daughter has always been a water baby, but needed to build a lot of skills. I can't believe the difference in such a short time. Caroline is positive, full of joy, and so supportive. She pushes enough to build skills, but also have fun. If you can book a class with her, even a just a make-up it's VERY worth it.
We have been taking our kids here for 3 years now, the coaches are all wonderful. Coach Caroline is especially amazing with my 3 year old who tends to have a hard time with new activities.

Coach Sara has been awesome. The thoroughness of FINS programs has helped our kids not only accelerate in their swim abilities, but to THRIVE in the water by instilling confidence in addition to skill.
The instructors and staff are wonderful. My 4 year old grandson was scared of floating on his back and after 4 sessions they got him floating and swimming. Brianna in customer service is also very helpful.
The Aquatics manger on duty was amazing on helping me get what i needed and was very professional and nice and was super efficient

My daughter swims here and absolutely loves it. The instructors are all very nice, focused, and know what they are doing. She has only been swimming there for a couple of months and has already learned a lot. The facility is also very well maintained and clean and to top it all of the Front desk is also always happy to answer any questions I have. FINS is a great Swim School and I am very happy I chose to have my daughter learn here.

My daughter has been swimming at FINS for a few years now. We took a break during COVID and came back to the new private class structure, which is perfect for addressing individual needs versus the previous group format. Her instructor Reid is highly motivating for her and his comedy, attitude, method of instruction, and vocals allow her to maximize her potential during each lesson. We have been at other swim facilities and would definitely recommend FINS over any other.
We did a FREE trial session here because FINS was highly recommended. I was very impressed with the way things were ran, the teachers/staff, the cleanliness of the facility, etc. Ultimately the closest location was too far from our home to attend multiple times a week. Hopefully FINS opens a location in Katy soon!

We have attended Fins since 2018 and couldn’t say enough amazing things about them. The instructors have incredible patience (my children test that, I’m sure) and they treat their students like family! The program is very well set up with achievable goals beyond just survival/floating and beyond stroke development - it’s the perfect combo of both! At 5 years old, our son was beyond prepared for Summer Swim Team… and our daughter (3) is well on her way as well!Special thanks to Coach Matthew and Coach Morgan for loving on our kiddos!
